Jingle in the Hood
Join neighbors, Santa, and the Grinch as we walk the small-town streets around Timber Lane, Jerry, and adjacent neighborhoods in Hermitage, collecting people food and pet food to support families and furry friends across Mercer County.
All donations go directly to the Mercer County Food Bank and the Local Pet Charities.

Santa & the Grinch on your street
Listen for music and jingling bells. When you see Santa and the Grinch walking with the group, bring your donations out to the curb and say hello.

✨ How Jingle in the Hood works
- Set aside non-perishable people food and pet food—sealed and in-date.
- On the evening of December 23rd, listen for Christmas music and bells outside.
- When you see the group with Santa and the Grinch, bring your donations to the curb.
- You can deposit donation at the end of Timber Rd December 17th thru 24th.
Not right on the route? You can still be part of the magic by donating via Venmo or coordinating a drop-off with a participating neighbor.

🎁 What to donate – people food
- Canned vegetables and fruits
- Soups, stews, chili, canned meats
- Pasta, rice, boxed and macaroni meals
- Cereal, oatmeal, pancake mix, granola bars
- Peanut butter, jelly, shelf-stable milk
Please double-check expiration dates and avoid glass containers when possible.

- Dry dog and cat food (sealed bags)
- Canned dog and cat food
- Kitten and puppy formulas
- Sealed treats and chews
- Special diet foods (unopened, labeled)
Pet donations help the Local Pet Charities of Mercer County care for animals all year long.
